4th Asia and Oceania IBBY Regional Meeting, Xi’an 26-28 September 2019
The 4th Asian and Oceania IBBY Regional Conference will be held in Xi’an, China 26-28 September 2019. The meeting will be hosted by the Chinese section of IBBY – CBBY and we are expecting a very fulfilling and interesting meeting.

For a while now, IBBY has been working on ways to strengthen its membership structure and this starts with strengthening each National Section. To concentrate on this aspect is an important tool in making the work of IBBY and its members feel relevant in these difficult times. There are currently 16 IBBY sections in the Asai/Oceania region – from Iran to New Zealand – all at various stages of development, so this kind of meeting will be very useful to all and could really make a difference on how a section, as well as regional collaboration, can be more effective. Lessons can be shared around the world!
