This council consists of 15 members, including scholars in the field of Children’s Literature.
Role
The committee reviews submitted manuscripts/ books and recommends improvements or issues a certificate of approval.
Benefits
- Certified books will be promoted locally by IBBY Sri Lanka to local readers and also internationally to gain entry to the global literature world.
- Authors, Illustrators and publishers who are members of IBBY Sri Lanka will receive support for translations and printing through the Business Centre.
